Naomi Grimes - Human Resources / Payroll

Career before Primex Plastics Limited:

When I left school, I got an apprenticeship in a hair salon which I did for nearly 2 years until I realised I was more interested in the business side of things. I then left the salon and moved onto getting a Business Admin apprenticeship at a metal fabrication company in Newton Aycliffe. When I completed the course, I was kept on and continued to work there for 7 years gaining experience in payroll, HR and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

My main responsibility at Primex is to keep up to date with current legislation and laws, usual HR admin tasks, processing payroll and ensuring we have a happy workplace. I also assist with the Accounts department too.

An interesting fact about Naomi:

I’m a pretty basic girl. My main hobby is going to concerts (especially country artists!) and comedy nights. I’m always at my happiest going on adventures with my husband and son.
