Tim Wilson - Technical Manager

Career before Primex Plastics Limited:

I completed a Degree in Polymer Science and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University, before doing my Masters Degree in Electronics at Newcastle University.  I have over twenty years’ experience of Plastic Extrusion with Linpac Filmco, then Palram DPL and now Primex.

Key Responsibilities:

As Technical Manager I oversee the Quality Department and work closely with the Production Department on a daily basis. I lead the quality and technical innovation at Primex Plastics, instigating the development of new products and material testing. I also overview the practises and procedures we have in place at Primex to ensure a high quality of goods are produced.

An interesting fact about Tim:

I’m a keen cyclist, golfer and trainee glider pilot.
