European Thermoforming Conference

Alan Pollitt, General Manager, and Tom Birkett, Sales Executive, represented Primex last week when they travelled to Rome to attend the European Thermoforming Conference. The Conference was attended by Thermoformers from all across Europe and it was a great opportunity for Primex to get a real feel of the issues affecting the industry at the moment. The speakers made presentations on a broad range of topics, from reducing waste and helping the environment to how to improve plant safety. Even though the Conference was aimed at Thermoformers, Primex are looking into how we can incorporate the ideas of “Thermforming 4.0” into our extrusion process. During the Conference we were able to speak with our current customers as well as speaking with new Thermoformers about what Primex can do for their process and products.
