Primex European Division is pleased to continuing its sponsorship of British Racing Driver Max Coates who will enter his second season in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, this time aboard a brand-new Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport RS run by his long-standing team, Graves Motorsport.  "Mega-fan" and Production Manager at Primex, Barry Wedgwood pulled the covers off Max’s new car at his recent launch event.

Entering their 11th year of partnership and racing together, 2024 is set to be Max’s biggest year yet.  He finished 3rd in last years series, his first in Porsche competition but this year has his eyes set on the top prize. “The partnership with Primex European Division is one I am immensely proud of.  We celebrated 25 years of Primex in the UK and 10 years of sponsorship last season with a fantastic day at Croft Circuit hosting 80 of their staff.  This year is set to be even bigger and better on track with the introduction of the new RS car which is awesome to drive.  It took me a little bit of time to learn the Porsche technique last year but we got going in the middle of the season with a win at Croft and podiums each round thereafter, this year the aim is the championship.”

Max’s new car has increased power, 425bhp to 510bhp, a 7 speed shorter ratio gearbox in comparison to the previous model and increased aerodynamic grip thanks to a bigger rear wing and additional canards on the front bumper.  It’s a seriously impressive package and one we hope will propel Max, sporting the Primex brand, to the front of the grid.

You can follow Max’s progress throughout the race weekends via TSL Timing (link below), watch live on ITV4 or receive updates via Max’s social media.

Good luck Max!
