A busy season so far for Liam

Primex were happy to receive the following update from our sponsored athlete, Liam Clement: "2023 to date has continued to be busy with practice, training, and racing, together with the completion of my studies at B.A.S.E. College. I started the year well with two good results in Scotland racing against strong elite riders which was excellent preparation for the UCI Under 21 Elite series. I have been fortunate to compete in other events in England, Wales, Austria (Leogang) Italy (Pietra Ligure) and Italy (Canazei). The 3 Enduro World Series events I have competed in have again been a brilliant experience racing with the best riders in the world. Unfortunately, I became ill with an energy sapping virus after Pietra Ligure which caused me to withdraw from the Leogang event after trying my hardest to practice the stages. For the Valle di Fassa event I was still not at the required fitness to compete at this level of competition which was reflected in my result.

After returning home and slowly getting my fitness back I competed in the ARD ROCK Enduro based at Reeth in the Yorkshire Dales where I was fastest Under 21 and 21st overall out of 3000+ competitors! The highlight was achieving the 3rd fastest time of the weekend on stage 3.

I have just competed in the PMBA Enduro at Llangollen Wales where I was pleased to get P2 Under 21 and 5th overall with some tight times.

My aim now is to continue with the practice and training prior to the remaining UCI EDR World Series events of 2023 in the French Pyrenees and Frech Alps. Can’t wait!

Again massive thanks to Primex European Division for the support"
